Neville Goddard Teachings

The first step in changing the future is Desire, that is, define your objective – know definitely what you want. SECOND: construct an event which you believe you would encounter following the fulfillment of your desire – an event which implies fulfillment of your desire – something which will have the action of Self predominant.”

Born in Barbados, West Indes, Neville was the fourth son in a family of nine boys and one girl. At age seventeen, he came to the United States to study drama. In 1932 he gave up the theatre entirely to devote his attention to his studies in mysticism. He began his lecture career in New York City, and travelled throughout the country, eventually establishing his home in Los Angeles.

In the late 1950s he gave a series of talks on television, and for many years he lectured regularly, to capacity audiences, at the Wilshire Ebell Theater in Los Angeles.

His ten books, written over a period of some thirty years, deal with creative visualization and the transformation of consciousness.
